Het mooie aan dit spul is dat het ingebouwd is in een uitgefreesd alu-blok en niet in een armzalig blikje .
Twee goeie N-connectoren vervolledigen het geheel .
De RF- dichtheid van het deksel wordt gegarandeerd door niet minder dan 16 schroefjes .
Ook héél mooi zijn de tientallen via's langsheen de striplijnen , eveneens om de RF -aarding te garanderen .
Buiten de vox kan het spul ook uitwendig DC gevoed worden via een zogenaamde sequencer . ik vermoed dat de bouwer hier bedoeld dat men in sequentie eerst de voeding voorziet en dan pas het RF .

This LNA is built on a known high performance pHEMT MMIC SPF5122Z. The amplifier board itself is placed into milled aluminium enclosure that had professionally been galvanized and then painted on outside. The N-type connectors have been installed on a one side of the LNA. One is the Antenna input and the second is RF output. There is a +12V power input pin between RF connectors you can apply anything from +12 to +15V DC power to. Or you can use the RF output coaxial cabel to get the power into the LNA through.
We have measured such performance of 2m band LNA in our lab:

This LNA contains two RF relays inside it. There is the VOX RF PTT System too. Max admissible power through relay with RF VOX is 50 watt, in case of DC power commutation with sequencer is 100 watt.
